Pearls of Teacher Wisdom

This week my students are reviewing the difference between "whose" and "who's."  At the end of today's discussion, I made a comment about the "who's," as in the plural.  "Know the 'who's' by Friday's quiz," I said.

Then off the top of my head, I rattled off the following delightful stream of consciousness:

The "who's."  Hmm...  That sounds like Dr. Seuss...

The "who's" down in Whoville liked grammar a lot.
But the Grinch who lived just north of Whoville did not.
He was a math major.
