A while back, I wrote about what progress we've made in this country recently. I'm so proud to be living in this era so alive with the anticipation of change and so filled with demonstrations of our potential for great progress. I often wonder how I'll describe this particular moment in time with my children and their children.
Then, I hear stories like this one, and I realize that, in my very short and sheltered lifetime, I've really seen nothing at all. Regardless of how this election turns out, I hope Mrs. Cooper makes it to November 4th.
